Event app for conferences: what it does and what it costs
An event app gives the people at a conference four things: the agenda with a personal schedule, a searchable directory of who else is in the room, B2B meetings that get an hour and a table, and QR check-in at the door. Emisar APP runs in the browser — no install, no password — and is free up to 500 attendees.
What an event app does
Agenda and personal schedule
Sessions by day and room, each one addable to a personal schedule with a reminder, and exportable to a calendar.
Attendee directory
Who else is in the room, searchable by name, company or job title, with the profile fields each person wrote themselves.
B2B meetings with a time and a table
A request that is accepted lands in both agendas with an hour and a table number. The organiser sees how many were proposed, confirmed and held.
QR check-in that works without internet
Badges print from the browser on A4 sheets. Scanning runs on any phone through a link, and queues locally when the venue Wi-Fi drops.
Exhibitors and lead capture
Each stand scans badges and keeps the contacts, with the consent of the person scanned, after the event ends.
Room screen and announcements
A link opened on the laptop in the room shows what is running, what is next, the questions and the partners.
Is a conference app the same thing?
Yes — “conference app” and “event app” describe the same product, and the difference is the event, not the software. A conference adds parallel tracks, speakers and a room screen; a trade show adds stands and lead capture. Emisar APP carries both: the same app, with the exhibitor side turned on or off.
What it costs
Free up to 500 attendees, with the full app — agenda, directory, B2B meetings, QR check-in. Above that, Pro starts at 450 EUR per event and Scale at 990 EUR per event, VAT excluded. Billed per event, with no automatic renewal, and the numbers are on the pricing page rather than behind a sales call.
Try it without an account
Seven demo panels are open with no sign-up, no card and no sales call: the attendee app, the organiser console, the exhibitor area and the room screen, one per event format — from a 38-person networking evening to a 2,400-person conference. Open the demos.
Questions
What is an event app?
An event app is the application attendees of a conference use to see the agenda, find who else is in the room, request B2B meetings and check in at the door. Emisar APP opens from a link in the browser, with no install and no password.
Do attendees have to install anything?
No. The app opens from a link or a QR code in the browser, and can be added to the home screen. There is no app in the Apple or Google stores, by design: an install step loses the people who only came for one day.
How much does an event app cost?
Free up to 500 attendees, with the full app. Above that, Pro starts at 450 EUR per event and Scale at 990 EUR per event, VAT excluded, billed per event with no automatic renewal. Prices are on the pricing page, not behind a sales call.
Does check-in work without internet?
Yes. Scans are kept on the device and sent when the connection returns, so the door keeps moving when the venue network does not.
Does it sell tickets?
No. Emisar APP does not sell tickets: it takes the buyers from Eventbrite, Oveit, iaBilet and Biletin, and scans their tickets at the door.
Where is the data stored?
On servers in Germany, inside the European Union. What is collected, how long it is kept and who else touches it is written on the privacy and subprocessors pages.
