Exhibitor lead capture: scanning badges at your booth
Exhibitor lead capture turns a conversation at your booth into a contact you keep. Staff scan the visitor’s badge from a phone browser, the lead list grows in real time with notes, and the whole list exports to a spreadsheet when the event closes — with the consent of the person scanned.
How it works at the booth
A link and a QR poster per booth
Every booth gets its own link and a printable poster with a QR code. Staff open the link on their own phones — nothing to install, no account to create.
The lead list grows while you watch
Each scan adds the visitor to the booth list in real time, with a note field for what was said. The team sees the same list on every phone at the stand.
Consent is part of the scan
The contact is kept with the consent of the person scanned. What the exhibitor receives is what that person agreed to share.
Your own numbers, without asking the organiser
The booth portal shows how the stand is doing — scans, contacts, notes — without a call or an email to the event team.
Export at the end, in a spreadsheet
Leads export straight from the booth portal when the event closes, so the list reaches the CRM the same week rather than the next month.
It keeps working when the hall Wi-Fi does not
Scans are kept on the device and sent when the connection returns. A trade show floor is the worst network in the building, and the queue does not care.
Who pays, and what it costs
Exhibitors with lead capture are included from the Pro plan — from 450 EUR per event, VAT excluded. On the free plan, the sponsor module adds booths and lead capture for 150 EUR per sponsor, so a small event can give its stands the same tools without changing plan. Billed per event, no automatic renewal, numbers on the pricing page.
See a booth before you decide
The exhibitor area is one of the demo panels that are open without an account — no sign-up, no card, no sales call. It runs on a trade-show demo with real stands, a floor plan and scanned contacts. Open the demos.
Questions
What is exhibitor lead capture?
Exhibitor lead capture is how a booth turns visitors into contacts: staff scan the badge of the person they just spoke to, and the contact lands in a list the booth owns. In Emisar APP the scan happens in a phone browser, from a link the booth gets for itself.
Does the booth team need a scanner or an app?
No. Any phone with a camera and a browser works. There is no hardware to rent and no app in the stores — the booth link opens the scanner directly.
Who owns the leads, the organiser or the exhibitor?
The exhibitor. The booth portal shows that booth’s own contacts and exports them from there; the organiser does not have to forward anything.
What does the visitor agree to?
The contact is kept with the consent of the person scanned, and what reaches the exhibitor is what that person agreed to share. Consent is part of the scan, not a checkbox somewhere else.
How much does it cost?
Exhibitors with lead capture are included from the Pro plan (from 450 EUR per event, VAT excluded). On the free plan, the sponsor module adds booths and lead capture for 150 EUR per sponsor. Prices are on the pricing page, billed per event, with no automatic renewal.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Scans queue on the device and are sent when the connection returns, so the stand keeps working through the dead spots that every hall has.
